Money Talks - Art answers.

Money Talks - Art answers.

Green does not scream. Green shines. This work is not a silent picture, but a call - to the street, to collectors, to everyone who knows how loud money can sometimes be. In the center is a used Wallet with iconic monogramwhich was hand-painted by me. At the bottom left is the crown - my code for icon status and dethronement at the same time. In front is the emoji with a dollar sign in its eyes and a green tongue: half greed, half irony, all present. "Money talks", they say. I say: Art answers.

The background is a canvas shimmering in a rich, electric green, densely covered with sculpted silk rose petals. Each leaf catches the light, casts a soft shadow and looks like a small wave. Up close you can feel the tactile quality, from a distance you can see a rhythm. This carpet of leaves is not a decorative effect, but a Counterpart. Softness vs. robustness, natural form vs. logo system, feeling vs. price. The wallet does not rest "on" this stage, but negotiates with it: Who determines the value here - the symbol or the gaze?

Money has a language. It promises, it threatens, it entices. But it tells you nothing unless you translate it into meaning. That's why I don't paint blank canvases, but objects with biographies. A wallet is an archive: it contains imprints of your hands, micro-scratches from the counter, edges of tickets and traces of days. When I paint, I respond to this history. The emoji head with dollar eyes is deliberately exaggerated - a small stage for greed, but also for the longing for freedom. And the tongue? A grin that says: "Okay, money, you talk loudly. I talk back."

The crown is my second alphabet. It marks the object as an icon and at the same time takes away its nimbus. A crown can sanctify - or relativize. Here it does both. The blue pigment coolly strikes the warm brown of the surface like a comma in a sentence: a short pause, then continue speaking. It is the comma between possession and meaning.

Why this green? Because it reads twice: Nature and number. Chlorophyll and chart, leaf and balance. I want you to see both and not have to choose. The work invites you to live the mantra "more, more, more" for a different grammar: close, real, yours. Because this object doesn't stay on the wall. It clicks off magnetically, disappears in your hand and continues to talk outside - in a cab, at the bar, in conversation with strangers who suddenly ask not about the price, but about the story.

I am often asked whether it is not risky to take art off the wall and send it out into the world. My answer is always the same: It's riskier to lock them up. A work that breathes needs air. A surface that lives can develop a patina. Every little trace is your signature. Not "lack", but added value. You write with it - not with paint, but with time. That's why my works are unique, signed by hand and with corresponding numbering on the object and canvas. This makes it clear: these two belong together - and yet they find their Meaning only with you.

"Money Talks - Art answers" is not a moralizing finger. I love good materials, good craftsmanship and good form. But I love it even more when an object doesn't own me, but speaks to me. The emoji with the dollar eyes is a mirror - sometimes I laugh at it, sometimes it catches me out. How often do we confuse price with value? How often is that which shines silent - and that which is silent loud? In this green, each of these sentences stands in the room. You can nod, you can disagree - the main thing is to enter into dialog.

Technically, the work is designed in such a way that this dialog is easily possible. The wallet is fully functional and removable, the magnetic mounting is securely attached and easily detached. The rose petals are set plastically so that the light moves them. Depending on the time of day, the canvas looks different: fresh in the morning, deep in the evening. It's not a filter, it's material. And that's exactly why I love this series: it proves that luxury not only shines, but appears - again and again.

Outside, in real life, numbers speak. In this work On the other hand, symbols speak. I take the grammar of the brand - monogram, color, hardware - and put it in a new sentence. Art is not against ownership, but against possessiveness. You don't wear this piece to look bigger. You're wearing it to make your story visible. Maybe you'll laugh when someone asks you what the emoji means. Maybe you'll answer: "Today it stands for greed, tomorrow for ambition, the day after tomorrow for weariness." That's the beauty of it: art doesn't have to be fixed. It can wander.

And because this is important to me, I say it clearly: This is a work of art. It is based on a used original product that has been artistically altered, signed and labeled as unique. It is not a brand cooperation, advertisement or fashion item. It is wearable art - with clear disclaimer, with certificate of authenticity and the right, to live outside. Exactly where "money talks", Art may answer.

If you're ready to have your say, you know what to do: undress, dress, hang back. The rest will be written on the way.
