Neon pink is not a whisper. Neon pink is an invitation. This work does not want to disappear behind glass, it wants to be seen - on the street, in a café, in conversation. In the middle is a second-hand Louis Vuitton wallet that I painted by hand: there's a little crown on the top left and a winking heart emoji on the front. A smile with a kiss - playful, light, self-confident. A flirt with style. Love to go.

The background is not a backdrop, but a StageA 50 × 70 cm canvas sprayed in soft pink and densely strewn with silk rose petals. Each leaf casts its own shadow, each bulge catches light and returns it differently. This creates movement, even when everything is still. The delicate leaves stand for romance, the brilliant surface for pop and the overall picture for a Statement. And the wallet? It detaches from the screen with a click, disappears into your hand and returns - a little richer in meaning than before.

Why this crown? Because Luxury It often plays the role of a crown, but rarely that of a posture. The crown marks the object as an icon while simultaneously stripping the icon of its inviolability. It is not a „halo,” but an invitation: Wear it, show it off, make it your own. And the emoji? A little theater of the present. A wink that says, „I mean it—but not in a solemn way.” Love doesn’t have to be melodramatic; it can be light on its feet, with humor and a touch of exuberance that carries you through a door you otherwise wouldn’t have opened.

I don't work with „finished” objects, but rather with Biographies. A good Wallet already tells its story, before I paint it. Scratches, edges, and small marks are signs that this object has lived. My painting is a second voice that doesn’t drown out, but responds. And you add the third. Because this piece is wearable and „fully functional”—it’s meant to be taken down, used, and hung back up. Neon pink - why so loud? Because love can be visible. Because romance in 2025 doesn't have to speak in sepia. The strong pink does not make the dark monogram appear smaller, but clearer. It brings the object to the fore and frames it softly at the same time. The contrast between the velvety-soft flowers and the robust surface of the wallet is intentional: Gentleness meets steadfastness. Who says that a luxury object can only appear soft or only hard? It shines brightest in friction.

Technically, the piece is constructed in such a way that it takes the movement from the wall to the hand seriously. The magnetic staging holds the wallet securely, but releases it with a single gesture. It is hand-signed and has a matching number on the canvas and object so that the unity remains visible. Sometimes I hear: "Isn't it risky to carry a work of art outside?” – I reply: „Isn't it risky to lock up art?”Art that breathes should be exposed to the open air. It should be allowed to change color in the light, show minimal wear along the edges, and become softer to the touch.
